First Visit to the Library

Its such a lovely time at the library.  We all managed to find plenty of books to enjoy at the Library.  For quite a lot of us it was the first time we have been able to look through the chapter books or full selection of non-fiction titles. Don't forget to bring your book back to change it on Thursday!

James shares a trick.

James confidently shared a trick with us that he had learnt about on You tube.  He brought all of the equipment to school and showed us how M & Ms can make a rainbow!  How lovely to share your curious and inquiring mind with us all.

Collaborative Art

What does it mean to collaborate?  What is your painting all about.  Explain why you chose the symbols and images that you did.

Best Day of my Life!

We love this song, the dog is so happy now that he is going to be adopted.  Do you know all the words to the song?

Can you see ...?

Who can you see in the photos?  Can you remember the names of the people in your class?  Share your fabulous memory with your friends and whanau.

Oh the places we'll go in 2017!

What a wonderful start to our new year together.  Mrs Eagleson and Mrs OConnor enjoyed a fabulous boat trip on the Tauranga Harbour learning about the local area and legends.  We can't wait to go to all sorts of different places with our new classes.

IMPORTANT MESSAGES ABOUT WHY WE NEED TO BE BETTER AT THE DISPOSING OF OUR RUBBISH

An Important Message

We in Maatai have decided that there is too much waste and rubbish in our school. To do something about reducing this, we have sent out a challenge for EVERYBODY to have a LITTERLESS LUNCH at school. Here are some photos of what these lunches might look like.
